Woodwind is nominated in competition in Lisbon for Best International Feature Film and other awards.
The November 2018 screening is now confirmed and has been organized a year in advance for Lisbon, Portugal.
This is an unusual arrangement since festivals usually reveal their selections a month before a festival. Woodwind was selected for 2017, but Fin Pictures is focusing on select events for international festivals in 2018. The Portuguese organizers agreed to wait a year for Woodwind. In the months to come Fin Pictures will receive confirmation of which festivals will screen Woodwind before Lisbon.
In South Africa Woodwind is already in competition at the Cape Town International Film Market and Festival and the screening is set for 8pm on October 16 at the V & A Waterfront. Tickets should be available at Ster Kinekor Cinema Nouveau any day now. We will let followers know online.
Fin Pictures is gradually showcasing Woodwind‘s cutting edge approach to the art of music, for those who love art film with a deep narrative. Portuguese audiences will have to wait a little longer.
