With about two months to go to the Woodwind world premiere, Fin Pictures has begun work on their next film project.
As usual writer-director Fin Manjoo is secretive on the details but he has one big reveal.
“The working title is ‘The Flying Horse‘. That is all I’m going to say (about the next movie), because I prefer that we focus on the upcoming Woodwind screenings first,” said Manjoo.
After an intense 18 months, Woodwind was completed on April 27. Instead of going on a deserved break thereafter, Manjoo’s moved on to writing The Flying Horse which promises to be a bigger project.
“I’d love to welcome back some of the cast and crew of Woodwind whom I enjoyed working with… The Flying Horse is actually inspired by Woodwind but it’s a totally new story with new characters.”
Manjoo won’t provide any details on the location or the story, as all the following reveals will only be on Woodwind.
“For many years I’ve been building a short list of over 30 stories and from there I choose the best project to grow as a film. However the idea for the next film came to me while reflecting on Woodwind,” said Manjoo.
“First, we are looking forward to enjoy Woodwind together. For years we grew Woodwind, and your first baby is often the most special memory. After you watch Woodwind, then we can talk about The Flying Horse.”
